What KSeF is
KSeF (Krajowy System e-Faktur) is the central Ministry of Finance platform through which structured invoices in a unified XML format will be issued and received in Poland.
Rollout calendar
- 1 February 2026 — mandatory for companies with sales above PLN 200M.
- 1 April 2026 — all other VAT-registered companies.
- Until 31 December 2026 — transition period with lighter penalties.
What to do now
- Audit your invoicing system — does it handle KSeF XML and the KSeF identifier?
- Tokens and authorisations — set up permissions with the tax office.
- Internal procedures — who issues, who approves, how to archive.
- Integration test — well before the deadline, not on it.
